The coronavirus pandemic is affecting small businesses in a variety of ways. From loss of business to remote work, things are changing fast during the COVID-19 outbreak and businesses are being forced to adapt.

As of March 18, 2020 beauty professionals in Ohio have been told by Governor Mike DeWine to close temporarily. By supporting a small business (especially a beauty professional) during this time of crisis, you help relieve a bit of worry, stress and doubt when our only source of income is in making people beautiful.

Being that Chenese Bean Makeup Artistry is a small business (that I operate individually on a full-time basis) affected by this crisis, I (like many others) have to get creative and step outside of my comfort zone and be completely focused on surviving. For my business and my family.

My business provides professional makeup artistry services in various ways: traveling on-location to clients for film assignments, photo & video shoots for businesses and booked in advance for weddings and events. My office is used for private one-on-one services such as makeup appointments, makeup classes, wedding (bride) consultations and retail sold online.

Due to the coronavirus, many of my clients (wedding and non-wedding related) have had to postpone or cancel. And the further this prolonged, the longer I go without working.

Being that I hire Independent Contractors when necessary and don’t have employees on Payroll, just myself. The support will take care of the commercial lease (rent) at my studio office located in the Reading Bridal District along with open invoices. So the longer this pandemic lasts, the more things accumulate. With that being said, Chenese Bean Makeup Artistry needs help.
